In the middle of February, we started to look for a second home in Lapine to prepare for retirement. It had been over 30 years since we had purchased a home and we had no idea what to expect. The internet had not been developed and it was a different world back then. We started with some online searches to see what was available and placed a few inquiries on properties that were of interest to us. We were shopping for a home in Oregon from the comfort of our Southern California home. Stephanie was the first to respond and asked more about what we were looking for. After giving her our dream list, she began sending us listings she felt met our needs. She kept in touch with us to see if she could answer our questions. We had lots of questions and many emails and texts were exchanged over the following weeks.
